A woman was arrested in China's Shandong Province for beating her seven-year-old daughter to death, because the child ate slowly. As reported South China Morning Post, The child died at the hospital where she was admitted with severe bruising.

Apparently, the mother hit the girl with an iron bar because it bothered her that the girl was eating slowly at the table. Supposedly, she had warned him repeatedly that he would beat her up to lose patience and asked her husband to leave the room.

Her husband said that she could not stop her because when she tried to do it, she also hit him. When the man came back into the room, he found the infant's body full of bruises and wounds, but he could not take her to the hospital immediately because his wife had prevented him.

The condition of the girl only worsened when she was transferred to the hospital where she died a few hours later despite the medical care received.
