Motorcycle delivery boy seriously injured after hitting taxi

A delivery man was seriously injured last night when the motorbike he was riding collided with a taxi in the Zelarrayán region at 3,400, official sources reported.

Spokesmen said the crash happened shortly after 10 p.m., when the Keller-brand motorcycle, ordered by Bruno Viera, 24, collided with the back of a Fiat Siena, owned by Claudia Bernasconi, 43, who was apparently arrested at the scene.

They said that following the impact, the occupant of the minor vehicle was rushed to the municipal hospital, where he was admitted to the intensive care unit.

It turned out that the taxi driver was given a breathalyzer test which gave a negative result.

Members of the Patrol Command and the Civil Defense Guard were working at the site.

As a result, prosecutions were initiated for culpable injuries, with the intervention of the seventh police station and the prosecutor’s office in charge of Dr Cristian Aguilar.
