Authorities in Nashville, Tennessee, search the driver of a four-wheeled vehicle that struck and dragged to a local police officer on the streets of downtown.
The events took place last Saturday during St. Patrick's Day.
The Nashville Metro Police Service said that one of their sergeants, John Bourque, a veteran with 22 years of service, was hospitalized for a short time for minor injuries.
The record shows that the agent Bourque is trying to stop the driver of the four-wheeled vehicle, before being dragged on a few meters and then thrown into a metal barricade near the downtown sports center, authorities said.
You can hear in the video a woman who says, "Oh my God!"
The confused badistants rushed to help the police when the biker ran away.
A hundred motorcyclists driving all-terrain vehicles crossed the streets at high speed, endangering those present on the site, before fleeing downtown Nashville Saturday.
Police said the driver was one of the bikers driving at high speed between cars and causing agitation just before the incident.
Lieutenant Johnnie Melzoni told local media that the suspects also collided with another vehicle before escaping from the area.
"These guys were coming in and out of moving vehicles and parked, endangering motorists and pedestrians when Sergeant Bourque was beaten ", officials wrote in a press release.
None of the suspects were captured on Saturday, and the police explained that she needed help from the public to identify them.
