A police convoy from Michoacán was ambushed by a group of narco and 14 soldiers were cruelly murdered. The attack was claimed by the dangerous Jalisco Cartel Nueva Generación (CJNG). The authorities have promised that "There will be no impunity." The massacre was committed at a time when troops carried out an operation in the western municipality of Aguililla, where they were shot by gunmen from various locations.
As I said this morning when learning this cowardly ambush, I want to reiterate that I deeply regret the death of precious elements of the #Michoacán font while doing their duty to Aguililla.
