Ferrell averaged 10.2 points and 2.5 badists in 82 games for Dallas last season. He also overturned 37.3 percent of his 3-pointers

Ferrell, who played collegially in Indiana, was not selected in the 2016 draft. He played 10 games for the Nets before being signed by the Mavericks in January 2017.

The Kings finished the 2017-18 season with a record of 27-55 and missed the playoffs for the 12th season in a row.
