Nearly 20 years after the disappearance of a young woman, they found her body in her sister's freezer.

The mystery of the disappearance of a Croatian student has been solved with a macabre conclusion: his body was hidden in the freezer of his sister's house. The last time they saw the young woman alive, was in 2000, when she was 23 years old. Although his family complained to the police only five years later.

The discovery took place on Saturday in the city of Mala Subotica. "We badume that the body found in the freezer is that of a woman born in 1977 and whose disappearance was reported on August 16, 2005," said the regional police spokesman. AFP, Nenand Risak.
