A 7-year-old girl was admitted Thursday to the block of mothers and children of Escuela Hospital, in the Honduran town of Tegucigalpa, with scissors in her head.

The mother of the child, Raquel Zúniga, took him to the 5th station of the fire department located in the neighborhood of El Carrizal.

Subsequently, the piba was transferred to the health center with the integrated object where the doctors must extract it. Until now, it's unclear how the young woman ended up incorporating the sharp object into her skull.

From the medical center, they indicated that they were performing various tests to determine if there was a type of neurological consequence or a deep injury.
