New documents have revealed that the Wuhan lab plans to improve bat viruses to study risks in humans.

Two years before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology planned to genetically modify viruses to make them more infectious to humans. and release them in the bat caves.

The research proposal was part of a set of documents released this week by a group of scientists and activists seeking to determine the origins of the pandemic.

Wuhan scientists have been listed as partners in a funding proposal that the environmental health nonprofit Ecohealth Alliance presented to the US government’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). DARPA rejected the proposal and it is not known what happened to the research project., which the documents describe as “a good start”, according to magazine information News week.

DARPA is an investigative agency of the United States Department of Defense that aims to “Preserving military readiness by protecting against the threat of infectious diseases”.

The proposal rekindles controversy over the responsibility of the Wuhan laboratory in the pandemic. The Chinese regime maintains that the epidemic started in a market and opposes those who claim that Wuhan Institute of Virology Experiments Lead to Leak of Dangerous Pathogens.

Scientists and governments, including the United States, do not rule out the theory of laboratory leaks and demand that China cooperate with an investigation to determine the origins of the pandemic.

Suspicion about China’s official version was largely motivated by the Decentralized Radical Autonomous Research Team Investigating COVID-19 (DRASTIC), who released the documents this week.

Throughout the pandemic, DRASTIC researchers, many of whom are anonymous, working independently from different countries, have discovered unclear documents, reconstructed and explained on Twitter.

Richard Ebright, professor of chemistry and chemical biology on the board of trustees of Rutgers University and director of the laboratory and the Waksman Institute for Microbiology, published the results of the latest DRASTIC papers.

They showed that Wuhan researchers wanted to genetically modify coronaviruses and monitor their release and transmission in bat caves to determine the risks these viruses pose to humans, according to Newsweek.

DRASTIC reported that documents shared by an anonymous whistleblower showed the EcoHealth Alliance “collaborated” with the Wuhan Institute of Virology to “conduct advanced and dangerous research on the bat coronavirus pathogenic to humans” through a grant proposal that the EcoHealth Alliance submitted to DARPA.

In its funding request, the EcoHealth Alliance proposed “Inject deadly chimeric bat coronaviruses collected by the Wuhan Institute of Virology into humanized and ‘batified’ mice”, according to DRASTIC

The sought-after project “Deactivate the potential for the spread of novel coronaviruses linked to SARS of bat origin and at high zoonotic risk in Asia”. The researchers would “take intensive bat samples” in the field where scientists “have identified a high risk of spread” of coronaviruses.

EcoHealth Alliance requested $ 14 million from DARPA to carry out his research, which was to last three and a half years. The proposal dates from March 2018, two years before the start of the pandemic.

Thanks to DRASTIC, we know that the Wuhan Institute of Virology had a vast collection of coronaviruses gathered over many years of bat cave research, and that many of them came from a mine shaft in which three men died of an illness believed to be similar to SARS in 2012. It is also known that the Institute was actively working with these viruses, with inadequate security protocols, they could therefore have triggered the pandemic. The laboratory and the Chinese regime have done everything to cover up these activities.
