North Korean leader Kim Jong-ung has issued an order to control the hairstyles and music his country’s teens listen to, your intention is “mold” to young people according to the ideology of their party to avoid “dangerous poison” entertainment and foreign fashions, NK News reported.

State media published a letter signed by Kim in which he called on the country’s Youth League to take “repression” against what he considers a “Disgusting, individualistic and anti-socialist behavior.”

The letter was delivered last Thursday by the North Korean leader at the 10th Congress of the Youth League, in addition stressed the importance for young people to join the party to “lead a happy life in the next 15 years” for all North Koreans.

“In all parts of the world where generations of adolescents seek only personal goals and pleasure, only our young people are the revolutionaries who take pleasure in difficulties and trials” Kim wrote according to NK News.

At the moment North Korea is on a crusade against foreign influences because it could “threaten the ideology and the power of the state”, including China or South Korea. First they would go for the hairstyles, then the lifestyle choices, and finally the questions about “power, money and the structure of society”, said local politician Peter Ward.

According to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Kim Jong-Un said: “If you look at young people who are involved in illegal and criminal activity, these are young people who are particularly separated from the group or who hate organizational control.”
