New walk of naked cyclists in search of road safety | Chronic

Naked men and women cycled on Saturday in the streets of Brussels and the European district to draw attention to traffic problems in the city.

During the fifteenth edition, the curious event saw hundreds of people pedal a few hours without clothing to claim more bike paths, but also a better quality of life in the city.

In recent years, bicycle lanes have proliferated in the Belgian capital, sometimes using tricks that have been controversial.

For example, the space between the tracks of the tram was suddenly transformed into a bike path, which takes risks, said the agency ANSA.

The World Naked Bike Ride World Collective (WNBR) is doing this type of work around the world to raise awareness of the vulnerability of cyclists and pedestrians to cars and the misuse of fossil fuel consumption.

By bike, clothes are optional. Participants organize, gather and perform mbadively to give a vision of a cleaner and more positive world.
