Nine out of ten people do not celebrate carnival

Nine out of ten people do not participate in any type of carnival celebration and nearly half of them have never done so, according to a survey jointly conducted by Alessio IROL and Berensztein's consultants at across the country.

The online measurement conducted on a sample of 500 people over 18 years of age across the country also showed that "indifference" is the most frequently cited sentiment in response to this holiday (47% ), followed by entertainment (21%). cent), nostalgia (16%) and sadness (4%); while at 9%, these vacations do not arouse any feelings.

"The traditional corsairs of carnival are a souvenir, more than a gift," says the report titled "Carnival is a party without much content".

Regarding participation in the festivities, only 5% admitted to having "recently" participated in the celebrations, while 50% said they participated "many years ago" and 45% "never".

As for plans for this long weekend, 84% said it was for "rest" (75%) or "walking" (12%); but 16% said they intend to "work".

In this way, the work concludes that "the carnival is only a weekend away".
