North Korea's New US Announcement: Missile Launch for the Second Time in a Month

North Korea launched several short-range missiles in the second test with tactical weapons in less than a month, according to military sources in South Korea.

Although, initially, only one launch was reported, the South Korean Chiefs of Staff later pointed out that in reality, several missiles had been fired for twenty minutes.

According to the official statement, reproduced by the local agency YonhapPyonyang "fired several missile shells" from the city of Wonsan, on the east coast of North Korea, heading east. The launches were made from 09:06 local time (0.06 GMT) and until 09:27 local time (00,27 GMT). The missiles traveled between 70 and 100 kilometers.
