Notebooks: They accepted the widow of Muñoz as repentant

Federal Judge Claudio Bonadio approved the agreement under which Carolina Pochetti, widow of the former secretary of Néstor Kirchner, Daniel Muñoz, became the new repentante of the cause of the notebooks, although she will remain imprisoned. The homologation of the agreement took place yesterday afternoon, while his former lawyer, Miguel Ángel Plo, was also arrested early in his life for his involvement in the money laundering scheme attributed to Muñoz.

Pochetti's defense did not request his release to allow the judge and prosecutors, Carlos Rívolo and Carlos Stornelli, to corroborate the veracity of the statements. The widow had arrived at the Courts of Comodoro Py in the morning, when the building had been cut off: she had first met her lawyer, then was transferred to the court of Bonadio, where she had answered questions during more than three hours.

The magistrate had doubts about the statement that Pochetti had made to his regret last week. He therefore asked more questions to clarify certain points. The woman has been detained since 24 October. She is accused of being the protagonist of the maneuvers carried out to conceal in Argentina and abroad more than 70 million dollars that her husband could justify.
