Only 5% of Argentineans celebrate Carnival

At least nine out of ten people do not participate in any kind of carnival party and nearly half of them have never done so, according to a survey conducted jointly by Alessio IROL consultants and Berensztein throughout the country.

The online measurement conducted on a sample of 500 people over 18 years in the country also showed that "indifference" is the feeling most often invoked in reaction to this holiday (47%), followed by entertainment (21%). %). , nostalgia (16%) and sadness (4%); while at 9%, this holiday does not wake any feeling.

"The traditional corsairs of carnival are a souvenir, more than a gift," says the report titled "Carnival is a party without much content".

Regarding participation in the celebrations, only 5% admitted to having "recently" participated in the celebrations, while 50% said they participated "many years ago" and 45%, "never".

As for plans for this long weekend, 84% said it was intended for "rest" (75%) or "walking" (12%); but 16% said they planned to "work".
