Video of a brutal attack on a 91-year-old man in Oakland (California, USA) has spread on social media. On January 31, the old man was walking on a street in the Chinatown district when a man approached him from behind and pushed him hard.
The old man fell, was injured and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Oakland Police were able to identify the assailant and also discovered that that day he had attacked two other passers-by, a 60-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman.
The assailant acted in the same way and, approaching the two victims from behind, pushed them. The woman lost consciousness after the fall, while the man was injured. Both had to receive medical assistance in a hospital.
During the investigation, officers discovered that the suspect had already been detained since February 1 of this year, albeit on a criminal matter unrelated to the January 31 attacks.
