The former model, actress and star María del Carmen Raquel Villanueva, better known as “Pata” Villanueva, it is found hospitalized in serious condition after suffering a domestic accident at his home in Punta del Este, Uruguay.

In the last medical report to which LA NACION had access, the director of Cantegril, Elbio Paolillo, specified the patient’s contact details and indicated that “the operation was carried out at dawn this Sunday, in order to relieve the tension produced by the impact he received on the head. ”If the medical authorities stressed that they await their evolution, they underlined that the general picture is “quite worrying, given that this is a 69-year-old patient in a serious situation ”.

In this context, and after the relevant steps taken by the law firm Alejandro Balbi, his children Agostina Cavallero, Robertino Tarantini and Bernardita Tarantini They traveled to Punta del Este, where the Cantegril sanatorium is located, where Villanueva remains hospitalized.

His children managed to enter the premises, although they were initially refused entry, for not having been able to carry out the corresponding health quarantine. Uruguay is one of the Latin American countries that, in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, has resolved to close its borders and keep them open only to Uruguayan citizens, residents or for very specific cases.

In dialogue with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Guillermo Coppola -ex-partner of Pata Villanueva- is also seeking to obtain the necessary authorization. He did so, as these media learned, after presenting a medical certificate indicating that Villanueva “is in danger of death”.

Villanueva has been in the neighboring country for about 70 days.
