Peru: An earthquake has hit Chile and triggered tsunami warnings

The telluric movement was at 1.50 Argentine time with the epicenter at Azángaro, north of Lake Titicaca, informed the Geophysical Institute of Peru.

The earthquake also affected the Chilean regions of Arica and Parinacota, where authorities issued a preventive evacuation order due to the threat of a tsunami. this was disabled later.
