Last Monday, the case of Sanjay Bahe, an Indian worker who was saved from the death of a miracle after a metal iron pierced his skull. The operation he underwent was a success and the young man is recovering satisfactorily.

The worker is 21 years old and was building a house when he fell into a well and the rod directly pierced his head. The young man, originally from Balaghat, in central India, was immediately taken to B.J. Hospital, near Gondia, in the state of Maharashtra.

Despite falling from a height of two meters and the fact that his body hit the sidewalk, the man did not faint at that time.

The operation was extremely meticulous. Fortunately, the medical team managed to remove the device in 90 minutes, without hurting the head. Pramod GiriThe neurosurgeon who led the operation told the media that the worker's brain vessels had been saved a few millimeters, which allowed him to survive.

"It is difficult to apply anesthesia to the patient in such cases … We have acted as it should by placing the intubation so that the vital channels remain in the brain for up to 30 minutes. ;surgery", he said. He added: "I practiced the operation carefully not to damage the surrounding structures"

For now, Sanjay Bahe is admitted to Neuron Hospital. Although his condition has improved, doctors prefer to take charge because he is exposed to meningitis.

It is estimated that the young man will be able to resume his job as a construction worker in the medium term because he has not suffered any neurological or motor injury.
