The Japanese Pokemon Site Let's Go, Pikachu! and let's go, Eevee! has updated revealing a very interesting detail on the gyms in these new games.

As it has been confirmed since June, these games return the typical Pokemon gyms, whose last appearance was in 2014 (4 years ago!) With Omega Ruby Pokémon and Alpha Sapphire. However, this time they will have a little difference since now to get into the gym you will have to overcome a challenge.

These challenges vary depending on the gym, but for example, you may have a Pokémon of a certain type in the team or at a certain level. For example, to enter Brock's gym, you must have a Water or Plant type Pokémon.
