After the ultimatum expires for Nicolás Maduro to call for free elections in Venezuela, the countries that recognize Juan Guaidó as interim president continue to be added.

Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz announced his decision in Brussels and the governments of the three Baltic countries, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia, issued a statement recognizing the president of the National Assembly of Venezuela as "interim president" in charge of preparing "clean and democratic" presidential elections.

"The presidential elections of May last year were not clean nor in line with international standards"Estonian Foreign Minister Sven Mikser said in a statement.

The text makes explicit the recognition of Guaidó by the Estonian government, "as have made other democratic countries" and "in accordance with the declaration of the EU of 26 January".

In the same vein, his Latvian colleague, Edgars Rinkevics, said on his Twitter account that Guaidó was recognized as "acting president" of Venezuela, on behalf of his government, to organize "free and democratic elections" in that country.

"Democracy and the rule of law must be restored in Venezuela"said Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevicius, also on his behalf in this social network, after declaring that Lithuania "as well as other countries of the EU", "recognizes and supports" the Guaidó.

The Finnish Government has ruled in the same way. "To support the constitutional process in Venezuela, Finland is supporting Guaidó as interim president of Venezuela," Timo Soini, the foreign minister of the Nordic country, announced on Twitter.

These new awards are being added to several American countries, including the United States, Canada, Colombia and Brazil, as well as to European countries such as Spain, France, the United Kingdom United Kingdom, Portugal, Sweden, Austria and Denmark.
