Porn actor Ron Jeremy has been accused of sexually abusing 21 women

The porn actor Ron Jeremy he was accused of sexually abusing 21 women, including two minorsthe Los Angeles attorney’s office reported on Wednesday.

Jeremy faces over 30 sexual assault allegations between 1996 and 2019, including 12 counts of rape, seven of forced oral copulation, six of sexual assault by restraint, four of sexual penetration by a foreign object, two of penetration on an unconscious person and one count of obscene conduct with a teenager.

The 68-year-old actor rose to fame in the adult entertainment industry with over 1,700 films since the 1970s. The plaintiffs were between 15 and 51 years old at the time of the attacks.

This Wednesday, the prosecution reported that the actor pleaded not guilty to the charges. If found guilty, the accused could spend the rest of his life in prison.

Jeremy, real name Ronald Jeremy Hyatt, has appeared in famous adult films such as “Deep Throat II” and “John Wayne Bobbitt Uncut”.

With his characteristic mustache he was one of the most recognized stars in the porn industry., although in recent years he has been vetoed among abuse complaints against him.

In June 2020, he was accused of raping three women and abusing four of them. His arrest and court appearance at the time sparked a flood of new complaints.

“I am innocent of all charges. I can’t wait to prove my innocence in court! Jeremy tweeted immediately after the accusations.

Also in June 2020 his lawyer, Stuart Goldfarb, has denied all the allegations and insisted that his client “was not a rapist”. “Ron, over the years, because of who he is, has practically been the lover of over 4,000 women. And pretending he’s a rapist comes from beyond … I mean, women throw themselves at him ”.

Jeremy is the latest entertainment industry figure to be investigated for sexual abuse in Los Angeles since the start of the #MeToo movement in 2017.
