President Iván Duque has announced that, from Belgium, the first batch of covid-19 vaccines will arrive in Colombia. It would be about 50,000 doses from the pharmaceutical company Pfizer, which will be intended for healthcare workers on the front line of care against the virus.

The president also indicated that in this first phase, the elderly and people suffering from comorbidities will be vaccinated.
