The action had been planned for days, with authorities investigating the case since June 28, when the first complaints were brought to its attention.

At that time, according to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, a care path made up of a team with a differentiated and gender-specific approach was activated. Five prosecutors (one from the National Working Group on Gender Violence and four from the Medellín branch) participated, as well as psychologists, forensic pathologists and investigators from the CTI and the police. So far, these staff have managed to gather evidence that shows that at least six of the 22 complaints that have been filed against the subject are true.
