Protests in Italy against new restrictions – Radio report 3

With the closure of economic activities due to the coronavirus pandemic, there have been protests in the Italian capital, in front of the Chamber of Deputies.

Representatives of restaurants, gyms or street vendors have gathered in Piazza Montecitorio in Rome against the new restrictions.

According to local media, a policeman was injured in the clashes.

It should be remembered that due to the coronavirus crisis in Italy, nearly a million and a half people have lost their jobs, many of which are linked to the almost total paralysis of tourism.
