The public transport system (STC) announced a change in its opening hours for next Monday, since it is a work suspension day for most Mexicans.

And is that according to the STC, next March 15 is a public holiday, due to the commemoration of the Benito Juarez birthday, which is normally celebrated on March 21, but ends Monday on this occasion.

For this reason, it was announced that the convoy will provide operating service in the 12 lines of the network from 7:00 a.m. to midnight, because it operates with holiday hours.

The public transport service also stressed that users will be able to access the facilities with their bikes at the 195 stations of the rail network, as part of “Sundays and public holidays, your bike travels by metro”.

Metrobús

For their part, the buses of Metrobús They operate on public holidays and Sundays from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. While Monday through Friday, the usual hours are 4.30am to midnight.

According to the government of Mexico, the Metrobús serves at least 950,000 people per day, through six lines located in 11 delegations.

In addition, according to their capacity, these are distributed as follows: articulated cars, which have two wagons and a capacity of about 160 passengers; the bi-articulated, which have three wagons and their capacity is 240 passengers. While the buses that provide the service of line four have a capacity of 90 passengers.
