A python bit a 65-year-old man sitting on the toilet at his home in the Australian city of Graz.

The animal had escaped from the neighbor’s apartment through the plumbing system, which has a dozen non-poisonous snakes, the local newspaper reported, Kronen Journal.

Afterwards, the subject alerted the police, who attended the scene with a snake expert.

The specialist explained to local media that this snake species is not poisonous, but its “bite is extremely painful”.

Finally, the animal was rescued, cleaned and returned to its owner. For his part, the man suffered minor injuries and received medical attention to rule out infections.
