As a result of this process, the Guemes sanatorium has obtained full accreditation for three years and demonstrates its efforts to improve and provide the community with confidence in the services provided, while encouraging the health team to pursue the vision. institutional excellence

There are scientific stages of Sanatorium Güemes that deserve to be remembered, especially those related to the unforgettable Argentine doctor René Favaloro. When in 1971, Dr. René Favaloro, already recognized worldwide in the Cleveland Clinic for the development of the coronary bypbad technique, returned to the country attracted by the great project of Sanatorium Güemes (SG) with the construction of his tower. There is also the meeting again with Dr. Luis de la Fuente, then head of the hemodynamics department of the SG, and Favaloro was responsible for the department of diagnosis and treatment of thoracic and cardiovascular diseases of Sanatorium Guemes.
