British police released on bail the five young people aged 15 to 18 arrested in connection with a homophobic and misogynistic attack on two girls on a London bus.

Young people face charges of robbery and aggravated badault for attacking Melania Geymonat, a Uruguayan airline host Ryanair, 28, and her partner, an American identified as Chris.

"They were released on bail until the beginning of July" the police said in a statement.
