Salta: thousands of young people have signed up to join the army as volunteers

Ponce believed that “this year there could be 100, 150 or 230 vacancies. This will be a large group given that there were only 37 last year, “he told colleagues at the local newspaper and said” three times as many candidates will be called for the positions. vacant because statistically, taking into account the filters of medical examinations, out of three examined, only one is perfectly suitable ”.

Regarding the tests that candidates will be required to take, there are psychological and toxicological tests “With which those who consume narcotics, including coca-cola, are thrown out,” Ponce said.

On the other hand, he revealed that “the spine, teeth and eyesight are also checked”, and drew attention to the fact that they were “a surprise” because “in Salta there are many boys with cholesterol even though they are skinny ”.
