Samuel Little has been described by the FBI as the most prolific serial killer in American history.
Little – who was arrested in 2012 and died in December 2020 – began his long list of murders in 1970. His victims were, for the most part, poor women steeped in drug or alcohol addiction.
This BBC documentary, directed by Ben Zand, describes the chilling tale of how this dangerous killer managed to stay free for so long.
BBC Extra brings you some of the documentaries that have made the BBC famous internationally. From Science, History, Culture and Society, each week we will offer you the best of our archives.
