Scandal in Holland: they ban the broadcast of a video of Queen Máxima dancing flamenco

A controversial move by the Dutch executive has prompted criticism after it banned the media from broadcasting a video in which Queen Máxima Zorreguieta dances flamenco.

The images were recorded during a visit of the royal family to the Feria de Sevilla and show Máxima dancing together with Toni Benjumea, member of one of the most influential families of this Spanish city.

After the broadcast of the footage, the Dutch executive censored the material and sent a statement to the media stating that the images "do not contribute anything to the role of the queen".

Despite the ban, the video continues to spread on social networks.
