Several members of international organizations among the victims of the plane – Telam

Seven WFP employees boarded the plane which fell ashore a few minutes after taking off from Bole Airport, which also included staff from other UN agencies and co-operators. NGO, Europa Press reported.

The presence of a worker from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) was also confirmed on this flight.

IOM Director General, António Vitorino, confirmed that Anne-Katrin Feigl, a German and member of this organization, was traveling in damaged aircraft.

In addition, UNHCR said that there were staff on Ethiopian Airlines flight, without specifying the number or identity.

The NGO Norwegian Refugee Council said that two of its workers had planned to take this plane and that there had been no news of them in the last few hours.

On the other hand, another victim was confirmed by the Norwegian Red Cross, which was cooperating with Karoline Aadland, 28, among the pbadengers.

"Today is a very sad day" for the World Food Program "where we mourn seven workers" who "lost their lives this morning in the tragedy," lamented the executive director of the organization, David Beasley, in a statement.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres also deplored this "tragic loss of life", especially that of UN workers. "I want to thank him (Guterres) and other people around the world for conveying their condolences," said Beasley.
