Several OAS countries are working on a resolution condemning Cuba's interference in Venezuela

The United States Ambbadador to the Organization of American States (OAS), Carlos Trujillo, today revealed that several countries prepare a resolution condemning "interference" in Venezuela by the governments of Cuba, who support the Venezuelan presidentNicolás Maduro.

The diplomat refused to specify when the resolution will be presented, an instrument used to determine the position of the OAS on an issue and may have consequences on the foreign policy of the nations that subscribe to it.

Asked that the United States will be among the countries that will present such an initiative, he simply replied "according to the resolution" and indicated that there was still work to be done.

Trujillo nevertheless pointed out: "The countries I think must note that they oppose the Chinese, Cuban and Russian military intervention in the Americas and that (these countries) are responsible for the lack of stability that exists today. and who lives the Venezuelan people ".

The United States believes that the campaign against Maduro de Guaidó, recognized interim president of Venezuela by 54 countries, has not yet triumphed under the influence of some 25,000 Cubans who would operate within the military structure and intelligence of the country.
