The disappearance of Heather Anne Lacey has been a mystery for six years for her family and friends. The woman was last seen in 2013 and her body was found in a freezer that was deposited in a recycled metal depot. They identified it with their fingerprints.

The 30-year-old's family said she had a contact with her for the last time on November 21, 2013 in the area between Hallandale Beach and Hollywood, where she lived. Since then, no one has heard of Heather until mid-March this year.

The macabre discovery was made in a scrap metal located in Margate, Florida, by the owner of the place, Lilian Argueta. It's she who alerted the police about finding a corpse in a freezer that had been in one of her depots for a month or so.

How did the body reach the deposit?

The remains would not have been discovered if there had not been the death of Jonathan Escarzaga, 36 years. The decaying corpse of Escarzaga was found in February in a nearby apartment in Hollywood, Florida.

The manager of the apartment where the deceased lived retained the services of the company Argueta to remove the freezer and other appliances. Argueta stored the machines in a warehouse and opened the freezer a month later.
