Sometime later, Valderrama returned to Colombia and contacted Amory via the Internet and WhatsApp. He followed the relationship from a distance.

But October 2018, the man returned to Chile to seek the policewoman. After that, the lady retired from Carabineros and decided to pack her bags to leave Santander, at northern Colombia. And he traveled the first days of March.

After arriving in Medellín, Colombia, the couple reportedly went to the car that the missing woman allegedly bought in Puerto Parra, Santander, to visit her partner's parents. After a few days, they went to Bucaramanga, where they intended to stay. Only five days have pbaded and the woman has disappeared.

His answer was that Amory fought with him and left. He says that he looked for her and that he complained because he did not know anything else.

The family's fear is that the young man murdered her to keep a large amount that her partner had requested for a job retirement. "I think he's done away with it," his sister Alejandra Ojeda told the Nacional de Chile newspaper.
