Shock in the United States following the discovery of the body of a woman who disappeared in 2013. The body of Heather Anne Lacey was found in a freezer deposited in a recycled metal depot on March 15.
The remains would not have been discovered without the death of Jonathan Escárzaga, 36 years old. The body of the subject was found in a state of decomposition in an apartment in Hollywood last February.
After his death, the property manager hired the company Lilian Argueta to take the freezer and other appliances.
Later, the woman kept the machines in a warehouse and, a month later, opened the freezer and made the macabre discovery.
The case was surrounded by a great mystery because the local police gave no details about these two deaths.
Escárzaga learned that he was an aircraft mechanic and that the autopsy did not detect any drugs in his system. However, they have not yet revealed the cause of death.
The authorities also did not indicate whether there was a relationship between Escárzaga or Lacey and the woman's family had declared that they did not know the subject. Neither do we know when Lacey died or how long her body was in the freezer.
