The woman, from Essex, UK, will travel to the US to marry the man, who is sentenced until 2034.

The man in question, his name is Víctor Oquendo, he is 30 years old and has already served 10 of the 24 years of sentence he received for various crimes, among which, shoot two people of a rival gang.

“Victor is not a monster, he is a human being. I never planned to fall in love with a prisoner in my wildest dreams, but it happened and I wouldn’t change a thing, ”said Naomi, 26.
