Tatyana O., a resident of the city of Novokuznetsk, was charged with murder after the death of her husband Aidar, but was ultimately found guilty of negligence.

In a first trial, a murder charge was dropped and Tatyana was found guilty of causing the wrongful death, according to court sources.

The court concluded that she had no intention of killing him, for which she was sentenced to 18 months of repair work and ordered to pay around £ 2,000 in ‘moral damages’, Life reported.

However, the Investigation Committee announced that it was pushing for a new murder charge to be brought against Tatyana.
