A young woman sued her boyfriend for not to propose even if they had already been in a relationship for eight years in one event that took place in a courthouse in Zambia and was reported by local media on Tuesday.

According to the report, Gertrude dance, 26, filed a lawsuit against Herbert Salaliki, 28 years old, for wasting his time after finding out he was dating another woman and assuring that he now doubted his partner’s loyalty.

“He was never serious, that’s why I took him to court, because I deserve to know the way forward and our future,” said Ngoma, who she has a son with her boyfriend.

In his defense, Salaliki argued that he did not have the financial means to pay for a marriage. However, the young man also criticized his girlfriend for not giving him the necessary attention.

For his part, the judge in charge of the case advised to seek means of reconciliation outside the courts as one of the best alternatives to resolve the problem.
