She taped a man harassing her in the gym and uploaded the video to TikTok | the Chronicle

A TikTok influencer recorded her stalker at a gym in the United States. The young woman was filming her exercise routine when she noticed that a man had started harassing her. The woman captured the footage in which it is seen how the subject took photos of her without her consent and pulled her obscene looks.

Julia was doing her routine, in the video she uploaded to her @juliaapic account you can see how a man in the gray cap kneels down to take a picture and the young woman starts to feel uncomfortable when ‘she realizes what’s going on.. The event happened in January but the young woman decided to upload it to the platform a few days ago.

“He was looking at me in the mirror, that’s how I saw him. He denied taking a picture, which made me crazy to think about it.”, wrote in the video and invited his followers to comment.

The man assured that the tiktoker’s accusations are false and that he was only doing his exercises and that she was wrong. Faced with this situation, the gym staff asked him to leave the premises, which angered him but he eventually withdrew.

Despite the actions of local staff, The young woman fears for her safety and has therefore decided not to return. The influencer followers showed their support for the complaint and agreed with her as most women suffer harassment anywhere.

Among the signs of support, there were girls who expressed their wish for a gym exclusively for women, where they can perform their routines safely and without realizing the harassing stares.
