She was raped by a nurse hours before dying from Covid – News

The rape took place in the town of Bhopal, in the state of Madhya Pradesh. And despite this happening on April 6, authorities revealed the details of the case just over a month later.

The victim’s condition began to deteriorate within hours of the attack and medics had to connect her to a ventilator. The woman died in the afternoon of that day.

The name of the rape accused appeared. This is Santosh Ahirwar, 40, who is still in detention awaiting trial.

Ahirwar was also known to have a history of sexual assault, having previously abused a fellow nurse.
