A motorcyclist who had ingested alcoholic beverages last night was the lead in a traffic incident, when she lost control and collided with a car parked in the Balboa area at 1300.

Official sources reported that the episode occurred at 11 p.m., when a Corven motorcycle, in which two 29-year-old women were traveling, struck a Fiat Uno which was stopped at the scene.

Following the shock, the companion suffered beatings and was taken care of on the spot by an emergency doctor in Siempre, without the need to transfer her to the hospital.

Spokesmen said the driver had taken a breathalyzer test which gave a result of 0.30 in the first measurement and 0.24 in the second (the limit tolerated by law is 0.2).

Members of the Patrol and Civil Defense Command worked at the site.
