Katalin Erzsebet Bradacs, from Hungary, walked into a branch of the Lidl supermarket chain in Umbria with the body of her screaming son. Immediately the customers and employees of the place approached and tried to help him, but the little one was dead.
According to the investigators’ report, the 2-year-old was stabbed nine times. The mother was arrested at this time, after police discovered that she had a knife in her bag.
Police believe Bradacs killed the boy after losing custody and in revenge on the father, who lives in Hungary. So much so that a few minutes before death he sent a photo by phone to the man of the dying child.
Although she denied the charges against her, she gave police three conflicting versions of what happened, for which she remains in custody.
