Aged 56, Andrew explained that Andrew had started having an addiction in 2010 by ingesting oxycodone, an opioid pain reliever. From that moment, he gradually took heroin and fentanyl.

When his family began to notice strange attitudes at home, they were involved to try to help him, but that was not enough. Even the intervention of his sisters, Candace and Haley, could not change his way of acting. But everything got worse when the young man left the house and moved with a group of friends also addicts.
