Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio berlusconi, 84, is hospitalized since Monday, reported this Wednesday his lawyer Federico cecconi during a hearing before the Milan court.

“Dr Berlusconi has been hospitalized since Monday morning for health reasons”, Cecconi announced, without giving further details, according to the Italian news agency Ansa.

An official from your party, Go Italy, confirmed the information to AFP, and assured that it is scheduled medical checks.

His state of health “does not cause any concern”, he stressed.

According to the prosecution, Berlusconi’s “generosity” towards these young women cost him a few ten million euros (nearly $ 12 million) between 2011 and 2015, some of which seven million euros (over $ 8 million) is spent on cars, homes and gifts for Ruby, Moroccan Karima El Mahroug, who was a minor when she attended the famous parties.
