This Sunday, the Sinabung volcano erupted in Indonesia, leaving a cloud of smoke reaching 16.7 km altitude.
Similarly, pyroclastic flows have been recorded at least 9 km from the crater, according to the Department of Seismology and Volcanism of the Institute of Geological and Atmospheric Research of Mexico.
The communities surrounding the volcano have been evicted and no damage has been reported so far.
