Siprosa guarantees vaccination of the population against influenza

In order to protect the population with the highest risk of flu complications, the application of the dose started free. The head of the Department of Immunization of Siprosa Ricardo Cortez, said that at the arrival of the vaccines, they are distributed in the 400 vaccines of the province.

At the moment we do not have any vaccines. In addition, the Vaccination Brigade visits different facilities, explaining the dose to all those who have risk factors. In this regard, Cortez commented that the province has already received the first shipment of influenza vaccines and that they are expecting an additional 36,000 doses for next week.

In this first step, we have already vaccinated about 30,000 people in the risk group. We must remember that the bronchiolitis virus and the influenza virus have started to circulate. We therefore recommend that people at risk approach vaccines to receive the vaccine, while indicating that work is ongoing to make the campaign a success

Who should receive the flu shot?

Pregnant health staff, at any time during pregnancy.

Purperas: until 10 days after delivery, they did not receive it during pregnancy. All children aged 6 to 24 months (should receive two separate doses for at least 4 weeks)

Children and adults 2 years to 64 years old with respiratory diseases, cardiac, conbad or acquired immunodeficiencies, oncohaematological and transplant patients, persons obese with a body mbad index greater than 40, diabetics and people with chronic renal failure in dialysis

Co-survivors of sub-hematological patients

Cohabitants of Premature infants less than 1500 g. among others.
