Skype meets a massive desire and already allows you to record video calls

Skype has just completed a mbadive old request: A native function for recording video calls in video formats, something that could not be done using external applications like QuickTime Player and its function to record the screen .

Now users of the popular platform to make Internet calls acquired by Microsoft in 2013 incorporates the new feature into its latest update and will include options to find out if someone has read conversations, encrypted audio calls and group links, among others.

Version 8.0. Skype for Desktop will replace version 7.0, better known as Skype Clbadic. As part of the transition, the company has donated until September 1 so that only the new version is compatible with the platform.

Microsoft is busy making the announcement on the official Skype blog and saying that everything about this new version, of the performance to usability, is designed to keep users connected to the most important people in the best way. Microsoft also claims that this version was built on the basis of requests from the same Skype community.

This is the first time that the platform has added a call recording feature since its launch almost 15 years ago. Microsoft has also been working on the integration of the service with Xsplit, Wirecast, Vmix, among others, to allow streamers and podcasters to use the service.

With this new feature, Skype will remake its desktop application this summer to make it much more similar to the mobile version.
