The autonomous communities notified the Ministry of Health on Friday 7,586 new cases of coronavirus, of which 3,731 were diagnosed in the last 24 hours, against 3,573 recorded on Thursday, which increases the global number of people infected with covid-19 since the start of the pandemic at 3,255,324.

On the eve of Holy Week, the cumulative incidence continues to increase and stands at 138 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 14 days, against 134.08 reported Thursday by the department headed by Carolina Darias.

A week after the start of the San José Bridge, the pandemic over the past eight days adds 42,992 additional infections and 2,100 deaths, as well as a ten-point increase in the cumulative incidence.

Meanwhile, health and autonomies approve the recommendation to close the interior of bars in high-risk areas.

Regarding deaths by covid-19, 590 others were notified this Friday, a figure from mid-February, of which 265 were recorded last week. This brings the global death toll from the coronavirus in Spain to 75,010 people.

Regarding the occupation of ICUs, the high pressure is maintained with 18.4% and 1830 covid patients admitted to these units, as well as the hospital, 6%, with 7679 patients.
