Spanish researcher assures that Madeleine McCann is alive and in South America

"South America is a very likely destination, Portugal has known links with Brazil, and from Brazil it could be anywhere in South America." The speaker is Julián Peribañez, a private investigator spanish who spent eight months searching for Madeleine McCann in the Algarve, the tourist region of Portugal where the little one disappeared in 2007.

Interest in the case has been revived in recent weeks after Netflix launched a documentary series that seeks to provide answers to some of the key issues that persist 12 years after Maddie's disappearance. While badyzing the various lines of research discussed over the last decade, the series supports the hypothesis that the three-year-old British girl in 2007 was kidnapped and probably alive.

The parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, did not participate in the production because they feel that the series does not help the goal of finding the girl. In addition, they reject the intervention of Gonzalo Amaral, the Portuguese detective who led the case in the months following the disappearance and accused the parents themselves.

"Madeleine's parents have nothing to do with it, I met them at one point, we were talking about all the research leads and I've put forth the hypothesis of a pedophile organization there I saw how they endured stoically.I saw them shed tears and stoically hold the whole story.I believed them.The accusations against them are baseless, without evidence, "said Peribañez. "Control over this can only be done by a group of 3 to 4 people in different locations to see the perimeter and the apartment where Madelein was." To leave no trace, it must be a very coordinated group "said Peribañez, who came into question when the family hired the Spanish agency Method 3.

This week, Clarence Mitchell, spokesperson for Madeleine's family, said that he still hoped to find the girl alive. "The mystery could lead to a phone call tomorrow," he said.
